Welcome to the Plane Pull Event

Join us for the 15th Annual Special Kids & Families Plane Pull. 

As one of our largest fundraising events, Special Kids & Families looks forward to providing this unique event year after year!  Expect lots of family fun, music and entertainment along with tons of excitement for the kids.

Special children’s activities include face painting, moon bounce and a FedEx pedal plane.  PLUS Shady Tree Fun Farm will be featuring petting  zoo animals, carnival rides and train rides.  Popcorn, sno-cones, funnel cakes and more great festival food along with lunch will be on sale for all to enjoy!

Also during the event, there is a chance for AirTran Airways tickets for two to be given away plus many other great door prizes. 

The main event will feature:

• Adult teams of 20 that compete by pulling a 727 FedEx jet weighing in at 155,000 pounds!
• Youth teams of 10 will compete to pull a 32,000 pound FedEx ATR feeder aircraft. 

Prizes will be awarded for the adult team that pulls its plane 12 feet (and the youth team that pulls its plane 20 feet) in the shortest amount of time.
